STILISTA's Makeup Artists Back from New York Fashion Week

STILISTA Agency's Makeup Team, led by key artist Jenn Quin, returned this week from their successful trip to New York Fashion Week at Bryant Park. The team, consisting of 20 makeup artists from Baltimore, New York City, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, New Jersey, and Seattle, was chosen to sponsor couture designer Kati Stern's Venexiana's Fall 2009 showcase. The collaboration between Kati Stern and Jenn Quin created a unique edgy and sophisticated look with blocked out eyebrows, beautiful smoky eyes, and nude lips that complimented Stern’s glamorous fall line.

The STILISTA team's work for Venexiana has received rave reviews from many critics, including E. Nina Rothe of Chic Today. Rothe stated in an email to STILISTA owner Sandy James that she "really enjoyed the makeup at the Venexiana show." Rothe also included a nod to STILISTA in Chic Today's February 16, 2009 write-up of the Venexiana show: "Framed in elegantly simple hair by the Sahag Workshop crew and smoky eyes by the team at STILISTA Agency, the models looked astonishing." Remember the key to healthy looking skin in the dry winter months is to keep your body hydrated. Drink lots of water! Moisturize your skin from the inside as well as the outside. Don't forget your moisturizer and exfoliate both your body and face regularly.
